
LEGAL SERVICES
The Department was established to provide specialized legal services that are practical and value added to cater to the various legal needs of the business community.
Our services comprise resolving commercial disputes amicably through Mediation which is one of the most effective alternate dispute resolution mechanisms provided that both or one of the disputants is a member of the Dubai Chamber. The Mediation service is quick, confidential, and cost effective. It is an excellent opportunity for preserving business relations and gives parties maximum control over the Mediation process and outcome.
The department also provides Debt Collection Service to assist companies in recovering their bad debts. The service is offered in partnership with COFACE a leading credit service provider with over 60 years of experience in account receivables and direct presence in 65 countries worldwide.
In addition, the Legal Services provides free legal information related to commercial laws and regulations and organizes legal seminars and workshops on regular basis to spread awareness amongst the business community on different legal topics.

What is the role of the Mediator?
The Mediator is impartial, assists the parties in defining the issues in dispute, facilitates communication between the parties and assists them in reaching resolution in an amicable manner.
