ABOUT US

The Centre for Responsible Business was established in 2004 by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry to foster corporate integrity and to promote the Emirate of Dubai as the region’s gateway for global commerce by offering its global business partners an environment of transparency and rule of law. The Centre for Responsible Business is the leading centre of expertise in Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility in Dubai. CRB assists members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to apply responsible business practices that enhance performance and competitive advantage through:

Raising awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in business and with consumers.
Encouraging business to implement best practice standards.
Providing direct advice and tools to businesses to improve their CSR performance.
Measuring and documenting the awareness and implementation of responsible business practices in Dubai.

CSR is increasingly recognized as an imperative for business success; therefore, CRB offers a variety of educational, professional training and consulting services that are designed to build individual companies’ capacity to implement broad CSR programs including business ethics, sustainability reporting and corporate governance. CRB’s work fosters a favorable business environment that values transparency and accountability. CRB is a member of the Global Partners Network convened by Business in the Community and is an Organizational Stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative.
