With this initiative, Dubai Chamber wishes to identify best trading performance in Dubai, to establish a reference to the rest of the trading community, to enhance the business environment, and lastly to encourage the internationalization of Dubai-based companies. At the same time, Dubai Chamber aims at establishing a dialogue with member companies to receive direct feedback on doing business in Dubai.
All data for the selection was retrieved from Dubai Chamber’s Certificate of Origin database. For each month, the selection was based on one specific criterion. The criteria were respectively the highest amount of total invoice value, the highest number of obtained COO’s, the highest number of export markets, and the highest growth rate as compared to last year’s data. Large companies are excluded from selection. As such, Dubai Chamber hopes to establish a panel of export leaders from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that will inspire other companies for similar achievements in the trading sector.
